Happy Anniversary!

Shawn and I have been married now 3 wonderful years! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband. Without him I don't know what I would do. He is an amazing father, my best friend, and a great example to all. Thank you honey for 3 wonderful years. I can't wait for many more! I love you!!

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was wonderful. Shawn made a beautiful breakfast before church. After church we headed of to Mac Park in Smithfield for a picnic. Then up Smithfield Canyon to geocache and do some hiking. Thanks honey for a great Mother's Day!!

I Hope You Dance

So the theme for Mckaylee's Recital was "I Hope You Dance" the instructors had taught all of the girls how to do it in sign language. The owner of the studio, Jenny, her husband is dying of cancer. She was told this week that it will be any day now. You would never know if you met you that she was going through any of this. She always has a smile on her face and is happy. While the girls sang and did sign language she and her other instructors danced in the back ground. She was telling us this week that her husband told her to make one promise, that after he passes away that she will never stop dancing. So as you watch this video remember all of the things that you are thankful for and to remember to always dance.

Mckaylee has looked forward to doing this dance FOREVER! She has seen the moving Mama Mia! and loved it. She also performed this at a competition and received a trophy for it. We are very proud of her and her hard work!

Mckaylee loved doing this dance. It is to Mr. Roboto. They performed this about 3 weeks ago at a dance competition. Good Job Boo!

My First 5k :)

So I am so proud of myself. Today I ran my first 5k in Smithfield. It was brutal. The first half is all uphill but the down hill part was awesome. I was afraid that I would struggle since I have had this horrible cold this week. I did 3.2 miles in 33min. 48 sec. Not bad for a fat lady! Can't wait to do my next one!

Shawn's Birthday!

So you all know our luck when we try and go out of town or go on a trip! First thing that happend is I got a really bad migraine at school on friday and left pucking everywhere. Came home and slept for 10 hours and felt much better. Then on Saturday when we went to leave (as you can tell from the picture's below) the wonderful weather we had to drive in. We were planning a day of Geocaching and spending some time walking around Park City but of course we didn't have much luck with that. We did get a break in the weather when we were in Morgan so we did some there. When we got to the hotel to check in the clerk told us we could upgrade for free and have "a beautiful view of our pond with rare spotted tree frogs" make sure you look at our picture's there is no such thing as a rare spotted tree frog where we were staying. It did turn out to be a great relaxing weekend. Thanks to Jenny for watching the kids. Happy Birthday Shawn!!
